Citizens of certain countries are required to obtain visas for entry into Botswana. As the list of such countries changes from time to time it is important to check current visa requirements with your travel consultant.

No hunt may take place without valid firearms permits, trophy licenses and hunting cards accompanying the hunting party.

To enable us to to apply for all the necessary hunting permits and licenses our office will need the following information and documentation:

Weather

Botswana boasts a temperate climate with averages varying from 60 - 90oF during the safari season (April to September). Days are generally cloudless and sunny at this time.

We usually receive our rain during the Summer months from November to March.

Language & Currency

English is the official language and Setswana the national language.

The local currency is Pula but US Dollars and Euros are widely accepted.  Personal cheques and credit cards are not accepted by the Outfitter but are welcomed by some charter companies, shops and hotels.  The government levies 12% Value Added Tax on all non-export items, i.e. charters, ground transport, accommodation, etc.
