Mike was born and raised in the Eastern Cape and is not only a passionate hunter and rancher but an avid aviation enthusiast too. His love for hunting has taken him all over the African continent. The countries in which Mike has hunted include Congo, Cameroon, CAR, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa.

Sakkie is a passionate hunter and great people’s person and was born and raised in Nieu Bethesda in the Eastern Cape. He went to school in Graaff Reinet and matriculated at Volkskool High School in 1982. Having grown up in a farming community, he always had a deep admiration and love for nature and grew up hunting from a very young age. Sakkie joined the AFS team in 2002 and has hunted big game extensively across Africa, including Cameroon.

Daniel has been a valued member of the AFS team for over four years and is extremely passionate about hunting. Having grown up in Salem, a farming community in the Eastern Cape, the love for nature and hunting was inherent and he is also good with people too. After matriculating in 2011 from St Andrews College, Daniel went on to study Game Ranch Management through the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) and finished his degree in 2013; simultaneously qualifying as a Professional Hunter. Since then, Daniel has gained great experience in hunting big game and has also hunted in Cameroon.

Merika matriculated in 1987 from Cradock High School. She started her career at the Land and Agricultural Bank where she worked for 17 years before she joined the AFS team. She is passionate about people, nature and the hunting industry. She will be your contact in the office and will be able to assist with all your planning and questions regarding travel, firearm documentation, permits, etc. Merika joined the AFS team in 2004.
